Redskins Earn First Of Post Season Recognition.
Coalfields and Co., an internet site that follows West Virginia High School sports has released a portion of their Top 75 West Virginia High School Football players.
The Break it down in this fashion:
GOLD: The top 10 players in the state (in no specific order)
SILVER: Those they have ranked between 11-35 (no specific order)
Bronze Those ranked 36-75 (Again no specific Order)
With the Gold Members still to be announced, 4 Hurricane Redskins have made the list.
Bronze:
J.T. Cooper- The only Junior on Hurricane to be named, Cooper thus far has raked up 116 tackles on the season with 6 sacks and 17 tackles for loss.
Dakota Williams-Williams has 39 receptions for 812 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has also added 2 kickoff for TDS, including one last week at Hedgesville.
Silver:
Steven Shine- Shine has accumulated 81 tackles and has 6 sacks and 14 tackles for loss.
Curon Cordon- Cordon has 1077 all purpose yards which include 407 receiving 142 rushing and 528 in return yards. He has scored a total of 7 touchdowns. Cordon also helped secure the Redskins' crucial victory over George Washington with 2 interceptions of QB Grant Wells.
